Tropical Itch [Cocktail Recipe]

This classic tiki recipe has been adapted by Chicago’s Three Dots and a Dash to include both bourbon and overproof rum.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1½ oz. bonded bourbon
  • 1 oz. overproof Jamaican rum
  • 1 oz. tangerine juice
  • 1 oz. lemon juice
  • ½ oz. passion fruit purée
  • ½ oz. 2:1 simple syrup
  • ½ oz. falernum
  • 4 dashes Angostura bitters

DIRECTIONS

In an ice-filled shaker tin, shake all ingredients. Strain over crushed ice into a thistle glass.
