Electric Avenue [Cocktail Recipe]

If you love chocolate oranges, the Electric Avenue, created by Summer-Jane Bell, beverage director at Hello Stranger in Oakland, California, is right up your alley. “The chocolate liqueur is lightly spiced with ancho chili, and that smokiness works wonderfully with the smoky scotch,” she says.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 oz. peated blended scotch, such as Isle of Skye 12 year old
  • 1 ½ oz. Brovo Chocolate Chili liqueur
  • ½ oz. Campari
  • Garnish: dehydrated blood orange wheel, cacao nibs

DIRECTIONS

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass, add ice, and stir. Strain into a coupe or stemmed cocktail glass. Garnish with dehydrated blood orange wheel and cacao nibs.
