
San Francisco bartender Jon Santer created this drink in 2004 specifically to use Bulleit bourbon. The theatrical employment of a flamed orange twist made it a hit among patrons of Santer’s bar, Bruno’s.(Recipe reprinted with permission from 3-Ingredient Cocktails.)

INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz. Bulleit Bourbon (or other straight bourbon)
- ½ oz. coffee liqueur
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- Garnish: flamed orange twist
DIRECTIONS
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice and stir until chilled, about 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with flamed orange twist
