Corky Taylor
Corky Taylor is an American Businessman. He served as the President & CEO of Bencor Inc., a company in which he started in Louisville, KY and then moved it to Sarasota, FL. Eight years ago, Corky sold his company and retired. In 2013, he purchased a building in downtown Louisville and began construction on what is now Kentucky Peerless Distilling Company — a family owned and operated craft distillery making rye whiskey and bourbon. Peerless was Corky’s great-grandfather’s distillery back in 1889 but due to prohibition in the later years, the distillery ceased making product. 98 years later, Peerless is back and run by Corky, 4th generation and his son Carson, 5th generation.
