Made from triticale, a wheat-rye hybrid grain. The nose is filled with cherry that veers between sweet and bitter, fresh grain, and vanilla. The mouthfeel is lively, with grain, candied cherries, bitter chocolate, and spice. The wood influence is well balanced—fresh grain leads the charge. Earthiness, vanilla, licorice, coffee, and spicy grain mark the final blast. Fightin’ is the perfect name for this stormy, but charming whiskey.
