Sugar cookie dough, dried apple rings, iced tea, and an unconventional aroma of amaretto on the nose. The palate is spiced and chewy and full of grain character, well-balanced by blackberries, bittersweet apples, dried cherries, grated ginger, chile-chocolate, barrel char, and a touch of savory umami. Tobacco, coffee bean, savory oak, and tingling pepper on the finish.
