Though initially reticent, the aromas are lovely: rose petal, lemon peel, apricot, candle wax, and a touch of tobacco. Full-bodied in the mouth, with crème brûlée, baked apple, toasted nuts, semi-sweet chocolate, toffee, ginger, and baking spices, plus bright floral rose oil and lemon peel. The lengthy finish runs to burnt chocolate, roasted nuts, coffee grounds, and a hint of tobacco.
