Treat your nose to an education in young whisky and enjoy the flavors, as this is just 16 months old. Young and green aromas with citrus, fresh pear, young peapods, cress, pencil erasers, and the glue strips on manila envelopes; it’s unencumbered by sweetness or oak influence. Orange zest, chocolate, and sugary sherbet ride a shuddering wave of alcohol, from which Oreo cookies, mint, and Belgian chocolate cigarellos emerge.
